When Superfoods Collide

They don't call quinoa an ancient grain for nothing. This tasty superfood was first cultivated thousands of years ago, and Ancient Harvest™ was the first company to bring it stateside back in 1983. Today, we continue cooking up all kinds of tasty new ways to love quinoa, plus we've branched out into other high-quality superfoods like the red lentils you'll find in our high-protein Lentil & Quinoa Supergrain Mac & Cheese.



Cooking Directions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Add pasta. Cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes. Begin tasting pasta at 6 minutes and cook to desired tenderness.
  2. Drain pasta and return to saucepan.
  3. Measure ¼ cup lowfat milk into measuring cup, add cheese and stir until smooth.
  4. Add cheese sauce to pasta, stir well and enjoy!


  • For richer, creamier flavor, add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, then stir in the milk and cheese packet.
  • For a reduced fat alternative, substitute 2% lowfat milk with 1% or nonfat milk.
