Blessed Thistle is used in Herbal Medicine as a digestive tonic and bitter to increase appetite and aid digestion (stomachic), to help relieve dyspepsia, and as an expectorant to help relieve cold symptoms such as excessive catarrh.
Blessed Thistle is also used for loss of appetite and indigestion, to promote lactation, and to treat colds and fever.
Medicinal Ingredients:
Blessed Thistle tops (Cnicus benedictus)
Non Medicinal Ingredients:
certified organic alcohol, destilled water, vegetable glycerine
Dosage:
Adults: Take 2.4-4.8 ml (72-144 drops) 3 times daily in a little water before meals.
Cautions and Warnings:Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist or before use if you are breastfeeding.
Contraindications:
Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.
