Liquid B Complex provides the adult Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for thiamine, riboflavin, niacinamide, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, biotin and pantothenic acid. Supplementation with folate and vitamins B6 and B12 support metabolism of the amino acid metabolite homocysteine.1-5 Liquid B Complex also provides 100 mg of choline per daily serving. Choline is metabolized into phosphatidylcholine, which constitutes 70-95% of the phospholipid content of lipoproteins such as VLDL (very low-density lipoprotein).5 Choline-deficient diets result in impaired liver function6 – likely due in part to fat accumulation in liver cells, as VLDL is required to secrete fat from the liver.
