Sparkling Brut De-Alcoholized
Moderation is in
The non-alcoholic beverage trend has really grown over the past few years. Several social factors can explain this general shift towards an attitude that embraces being cautious and staying healthy. The result? The public is a lot more conscious of the importance of drinking responsibly. Indeed, whether it’s to promote a healthy pregnancy, for when you’re the one driving, or for overall health reasons, moderation is a hot topic for people of all ages.
And just because a drink doesn’t contain alcohol doesn’t mean that it lacks taste or creativity!
Quality products, different ways to enjoy them
If the sales of non-alcoholic beverages have been on the rise for the last few years, it’s because there are now quality products on the market that are not simply mere imitations of original versions: rather, you’ll find a slew of options that are interesting to drink, and they’re tasty, too.
For example, St. Regis wines are not what you would call “non-alcoholic”, but rather wines that have been dealcoholized. They are basically regular wines, from which the alcohol has been extracted without removing the aromas, colour and other qualities that make them unique and provide consumers with an interesting drinking experience. The alcohol is removed from the original product through a state-of-the-art vacuum distillation process. This involves the evaporation of alcohol before bottling the product, resulting in wines with alcohol content that is lower than 0.5%.
Although alcohol-removed wines taste excellent on their own, they have become so popular that several cocktail recipes have been created using them: they’re ideal for baby showers, evenings with friends, or family events where members both young and old can enjoy the same drinks!
Pass the bubbly!
For more official events, or simply for a nice change, why not opt for some alcohol-removed sparkling wine? St. Regis even offers a Brut that will make you completely forget that you’re not drinking the original version with alcohol. So enjoy a mimosa on a weekday or during your pregnancy, guilt free! Also, don’t forget to try their cassis-flavoured Kir Royal.
